Step 1 — Select Controller & Version

Step 3 — Connect & Flash

Firmware —
Use a data-capable USB cable.
Select the COM port when prompted.

Step 4 — Configure Current Limit

Your controller is pre-configured with a maximum amperage for the entire unit. Once flashed, open the WLED web UI and go to:

Config → LED & Hardware (called LED Preferences in versions older than 0.16)

Check the box labeled "Use per-output limiter". This divides the total current limit equally across all available outputs, capping each at 5A.
